5 July 2008 - We've got both White and Yellow Freestone Peaches. The White Peach has a darker red skin compared to the Yellowish skin of the Yellow Peach. The real key to telling the difference is to look at the stem area at the top of the Peach after you pick it. There is always a pressure line there, where the peach grew up against the branch. If the skin of the line is white, it's a White Peach. If its yellow, it's a Yellow Peach.
