 3 July 2009 - A cornfield will only remain fresh and pickable for two weeks. So Farmer Ben plants many small 'fields' of corn over a period of time during the Spring, so that when one cornfield is finished picking a new field is ripening. Just another thing that Farmers need to plan for. |
