 8 July 2007 - Now THIS lettuce looks terrific. Farmer Ben staggers his plantings of crops so that he can extend the picking season. This planting of lettuce will continue the lettuce season, even after the other (earlier) planting of lettuce 'goes to seed' or 'bolts'. |
