 4 June 2005 - Nancy holds a section of one bee hives. The Bee Keepers fill each section of the hives with about 10 of these wooden stretchers with a starter base on which the bees build their wax cells to fill with eggs and honey. This way the Keepers can easily pull out individual sections to carefully check for problems and the general healthy of that hive. |
